How these games are put together
- No banner ads. Nothing sits on the board while you are playing.
- No ad after a loss. A full-screen ad can appear after a game you finished, and only after some of those.
- Rewarded ads are opt-in. You see one because you asked for a hint or another go, never otherwise.
- No account. There is no sign-up, no email, no password. Google Play Games sign-in is there if you want leaderboards, and skipping it costs you nothing.
- They work offline. The whole game is on your phone. Ads and leaderboards want a connection; the game itself does not.
- One payment removes the ads. A single purchase, not a subscription, and it keeps the rewarded extras working without an ad.
- Progress stays on your device. We run no servers and hold no copy of it.
- Finished games. No energy meters, no timers counting down to a purchase, no lives to buy.
The games
Four are being built now. None are on Google Play yet, so there is nothing to download from this page; each one gets a store link here when it goes live.
-
Minesweeper Cygnus
Minesweeper with a board generator that will not hand you a coin flip. Three sizes, a best time on each, and a daily board.
-
Klondike Cygnus
The solitaire everybody means by solitaire. Draw one or draw three, a winnable-deals toggle, a daily deal, and boards for time and for move count.
-
Sudoku Cygnus
Puzzles graded by the technique they need, and never a guess. Four difficulties, a best time on each, and a daily calendar.
-
Merge Cygnus
Slide matching tiles together to make bigger ones, until the board fills up. The daily run deals everyone the same tile sequence.
The rest of the ten
Planned, in roughly this order. Each one gets a card above and a page of its own when it ships.
- FreeCell
- Spider
- TriPeaks
- Nonograms
- Block fit
- Mahjong solitaire
